Consultation Workshop on the Regional Research Findings and Action Plan for the ASEAN Enabling Masterplan Post-2025

Thursday, 25 June 2026, with support funding from DFAT through IDA, ADF, and NGOF. Disability Youth Network Organisation (DYNO) organised the National Consultation Workshop on the Regional Research Findings and Action Plan for the ASEAN Enabling Masterplan Post-2025 The specific objectives of this national consultation are: Gather Concrete National Inputs o consult and gather concrete national inputs from Cambodian OPDs, government institutions, UN agencies, academic partners, and civil society stakeholders on the ASEAN Enabling Masterplan Post-2025. Strengthen Civil Society Advocacy to strengthen civil-society-led advocacy by aligning national recommendations with ASEAN frameworks, GEDSI principles, and the rights of children and persons with disabilities. Formulate Practical Policy Recommendations to formulate practical policy recommendations and an action-oriented way forward for OPD engagement in the implementation and monitoring mechanisms of the ASEAN Enabling Masterplan Post-2025. The participants were from ministries, government institutions, UN agencies, UNDP, UNICEF, CSOs, NGOs, Relevant Partner, and youth networks with and without disabilities, a total of 48 persons, 23 women, and 14 persons with disabilities.

World Environment 2026
On June 6, 2026, Mr. Vann Oudai, representing the disability Youth Network Organization (DYNO), attended the “World Environment Day 2026 event organized by the Cambodian Youth Network Association (CYN). The event brought together a total of 101 participants and 7 civil society organizations at Phnom Penh.
During the Q&A session, Mr. Vann Oudai expressed his deep gratitude to the organizers for providing him with the opportunity to participate in this meaningful World Environment Day event. Concurrently, he urged the organizers and all participants to actively include vulnerable groups, particularly persons with disabilities in environmental activities. He emphasized that “Persons with disabilities are not a burden to their families or society. On the contrary they possess full capability to contribute to national development and share an equal passion and commitment to environmental protection like other citizens.

Steering Committee of the ASEAN Disability Forum
On Tuesday, May 12, 2026, Mr. Ngin Saorath, Executive President of the Disability Youth Network Organisation (DYNO) and a member of the Steering Committee of the ASEAN Disability Forum (ADF), met His Excellency Dr. Kao Kim Hoon, Secretary-General of ASEAN, at the ASEAN Headquarters in Jakarta. As the leader of Disability Youth Network Organisation (DYNO), he is proud of ASEAN cooperation and is deeply committed to contributing to building an ASEAN community that is inclusive and provides equal opportunities for all.
